The Joy of End-of-Year

It has been a busy time in the life of this creative. And busy times are THE BEST!

With ENCOUNTERS FILM COLLECTIVE (EFC), I wrote, produced, and directed a short, currently titled "The Overlook" in October for their Stairwells series. A series of very short films that take place on staircases. The Overlook is a poetic study in grief.

Also with EFC, I shot another of their Stairwells series last Sunday, November 17. This one as an actor. Entitled "Almost," and written by Linda Ayres Frederick, directed by David Usner, it is about the panicky moment just before opening a play.

The week of Thanksgiving, I will be shooting a student short for San Francisco State University School of Cinema. An argument between husband and wife grows heated, and food may get thrown.

And then.....from Thanksgiving through the end of the year, I am Christmas Caroling all over the Bay Area with the Merrie Olde Christmas Carolers as always. I've been singing with them on and off since 2009. I have several public performances this year in downtown Redwood City and downtown San Carlos, in addition to singing for schools with the San Francisco Opera Guild's Songs of the Season Program.
